Don Garlits Early Ford & Antique Car Collection - on the grounds of the DON GARLITS MUSEUM OF DRAG RACING
Don's knowledge of the flathead Ford V-8's and his focus on prewar Fords, led to a relationship with the Early Ford Foundation. Don struck an arrangement to display some of the Ford Foundation's collection, in with his personal cars, contributing to a display of about 70 pristine vehicles. This combination of early Ford cars could easily rank among the finest in existence.

The Cofer Collection: A Stable of Thoroughbreds, is and has been a work in progress since the early 1950's. Gene Cofer started his family automobile collection in the early 50's when his wife Neta was pregnant with the first of their five children. Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum Dedicated to the presentation, interpretation, exhibition and history of motorcycles, vintage vehicles and motorsports. Home to the world’s best motorcycle collection, the museum now has over 1200 vintage and modern motorcycles and racecars and the largest collection of Lotus cars as well as other significant makes. International Motorsports Hall of Fame Museum One of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame's highlight features is the Motorsports Museum. Spanning three buildings and the enclosed courtyard, this collection of history making vehicles is priceless. They represent the crowning achievements of man's abilities and the pursuit of the our limits. To those men, this is a tribute. To all others this is a gift, for the images you see before you are history. The International Motorsports Hall of Fame & Museum is located between Birmingham and Atlanta, just north of Talladega, Alabama. The Hall of Fame & Museum is located on Speedway Boulevard just off I-20 and lies adjacent to the Talladega Superspeedway, "the World's Fastest Superspeedway." Take exit 168 eastbound on I-20, or exit 173 westbound and follow the signs. Lodging and dining facilities are available at I-20 exits in Lincoln, Pell City, Oxford/Anniston and eight miles south on Highway 77 in Talladega. The Hall of Fame & Museum is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Easter morning.
